About the city

Andora is a coastal town in the province of Savona, in Liguria, on the Riviera di Ponente, near the boundary with the province of Imperia. With just under 7,000 inhabitants, it is a tourist destination on the Ligurian coast, with a broad beach — uncommon on the region's rocky coastline — and a hinterland of olive-grove hills. Its seafront and natural setting link it to water sports, cycling and outdoor activities. Andora was recognised by ACES Europe as European Town of Sport 2018, a title reserved for municipalities of fewer than 25,000 inhabitants, which places it within the broad Italian representation of the ACES network.
