About the city

Cantalupa is a small town in the metropolitan city of Turin, in Piedmont, located in the Noce valley, in the western Alpine arc, very close to the foot of the Cottian Alps. It is a mountain municipality of small size, in a natural setting of valleys and forests at the gates of Turin, whose landscape favours hiking and outdoor activities. Cantalupa was recognised by ACES Europe as European Town of Sport 2014, a title reserved for municipalities of fewer than 25,000 inhabitants, which places it within the broad Italian representation of the ACES network, one of the largest in Europe.
