About the city
Crema is a city in the province of Cremona, in Lombardy, located in the plain of the river Serio, in the agricultural heart of Lower Lombardy. With just over 31,000 inhabitants, it preserves a notable historic centre of medieval and Renaissance origin, with its cathedral and its arcaded square, partly a legacy of its past under the Republic of Venice.
