About the city

Loano is a coastal town in the province of Savona, in Liguria, on the Riviera di Ponente, a consolidated beach-tourism destination on the Ligurian coast. With some 11,000 inhabitants, it has a broad beach, a marina and a seafront promenade, and combines summer tourism with a hinterland of hills. Its seafront and its harbour link it to water and beach sports.
