About the event
A meeting that brings together the municipalities awarded the title of European Town of Sport. It has a special meaning because of Jaraíz's closeness to the Royal Monastery of Yuste, where Emperor Charles V retired and a symbol of the European spirit that the Yuste Foundation celebrates every year. The programme includes a visit to the municipal sports facilities and green areas —the Sports Centre, the municipal Pavilion and El Lago—, a tour of the area, a round table with the European towns and the local associations, clubs and athletes, and an official ceremony at the Town Hall. Organised by the Town Council of Jaraíz de la Vera.
