During the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid, the presidents of ACES and the Union of Ibero-American Municipalists (UIM) formally signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement, marking a new milestone in their shared commitment to promoting sport, physical activity and social cohesion at the local level.

The agreement reinforces the institutional collaboration between the two organisations and opens up new opportunities to work jointly with a network that represents more than 4,000 cities across Ibero-America, strengthening the role of sport as a driver of wellbeing, inclusion and sustainable urban development.

This collaboration represents a significant step forward in ACES's international strategy, expanding its cooperation with key municipal networks and further consolidating sport as a strategic tool for local governments around the world.

At ACES AMÉRICA we regard this agreement very positively, in the conviction that it will serve to keep strengthening the role of sport across all its spheres, promoted and led by public administrations, in the words of the General Coordinator of ACES for the Americas, Gonzalo Cuesta.
