By Executive Decree No. 7248-E of 19 July 1977, 31 August of each year was established as "Municipal Regime Day", in recognition of the importance and presence of municipalities as fundamental institutions for strengthening Costa Rica's democratic system. As part of this celebration, on 28 August an activity for municipal employees will be held at the Hugo Millet Carranza Sports Complex in Esparza, with the purpose of commemorating this date and promoting spaces for institutional integration and fellowship. The activity will include recreational, playful and sports dynamics, using sport as a tool for motivation, integration and the strengthening of teamwork. It also seeks to encourage physical activity and promote habits aimed at maintaining and improving the physical condition of municipal employees. This activity also aims to create a space for participation and recreation that contributes to strengthening interpersonal relationships, collaboration among colleagues and a sense of institutional belonging.
